Michelisz to wear fan designed helmet

Zengő-Dension Team conducted a competition among Norbert Michelisz’s Hungarian fans and offered the possibility of designing the look of the helmet used by him. The victorious concept will be used by Norbert from Marrakech while his car will feature 149 names of his supporters.
A large number of Hungarian sports fans quickly showed interest towards Norbert Michelisz’s and Zengő-Dension Team’s efforts in the 2010 FIA World Touring Car Championship. The traffic on our website broke every previous records and the activity was notable as well in case of the subsequent helmet design contest that was announced by Zengő-Dension Team in Hungary after the opening round of the world championship season.
The rules were not so strict; the team accepted almost every digitalized format that was appropriate to show the creator’s imagination of how the helmet should look like, be that a hand drawing with a pencil or a digital render of a textured 3D mesh.

A total 49 helmet design concept was received by the team and more than 2850 votes have been registered for the various plans. At the end of the competition the three highest rated designs were offered for Norbert Michelisz, the team and its partners to decide which one will be the ultimate choice for the Hungarian touring car driver.
In the end, the team picked a concept by Botond Nagy which was originally the 2nd in the order but the winner of the poll called Tibor Bíró also received the award offered by the team, an invitation with full service to the round three of the WTCC season in Monza.
Names to appear on the car
Not only the helmet design was up for grabs, local fans were also invited to put their names onto the livery of the SEAT Leon TDI driven by Norbert Michelisz. The first 149 registered fans was offered to appear on the side of the car forming a Hungarian flag as a part of promoting our delight to see an almost all-Hungarian effort in the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
Those lucky people who will be featured on the car have been invited to an event organized by the team’s title sponsor Dension Audio Systems in a music house called Fonó in Budapest due to take place on Sunday in time of the races in Marrakech.
If you happen to be in or close to Budapest, make sure to visit us in Fonó on Sunday, the 2nd of March 2010 from 1 PM CET to watch together the main events of the 2010 Race of Morocco and to see the launch of the official Zengő-Dension Team clothing collection and to check the latest goodies developed by Dension in the neighborhood of Fonó, where a great number of cars have been made MP3 enabled including Aston Martins and Maserati Quattroporte.
