Norbert Michelisz clinches podium in Japan

Two weeks after the Okayama WTCC race, the results must been updated. The International Court of Appeal excludes Farfus and Priaulx cars from the results of the Okayama Event after declaring Chevrolets appeal admissible. The appeal was presented over the decision allowing BMW to run with sequential gearbox on the Japanese track.
After this decision, Norbert clinches his first overall podium of the year with a 3rd position in race-1 and 7th position in race-2. These results reflect the good performance Norbert showed all weekend. Michelisz proved, already in the qualifying session, his extraordinary speed finishing 5th by being the fastest SEAT TDI and achieving an enhanced position in front of most experienced drivers in WTCC such as Yvan Muller or Gabriele Tarquini.
Although Sunday race wet-hard conditions (heavy rains), Norbert managed to complete two consistent races when just keeping on the track, without making any mistakes was really tough for all drivers.
With this result Norbert Michelisz has achieved an excellent podium as a result of his progression on his first year on the WTCC.
